excite MIX is a fully customisable personal homepage. You can get the latest news from your favorite sites in real time, check your emails at a glance and search the web, all from one page.
You can find popular RSS feeds in the "Add Content" feed directory to get you started. To make the most of all the free live content available on the web, Excite MIX provides you with a single access point, where you can see all your favourites from just one page. The techie term for it is a Feed Aggregator. What you're seeing on your Excite MIX are the latest updates / news / content from the websites you choose.
To help you tracking your email, you can add as many mail modules as you like to get list of messages in your mailboxes (POP header retrieving). There's a useful notepad module for jotting down reminders or notes to self.
You can also customise your MIX by adding extra pages if you want, categorized to make information and tools easily organized. All the modules you put on your MIX can be moved easily around on a page or between pages - just drag and drop. Pages can also be ordered by dragging and dropping the page tab where you want it. You should rename the tab caption to reflect the contents on corresponding tab.
Once you are satisfied with your personal homepage 'mix', you can save your MIX and access it anywhere by creating a free Excite account.
