Create a Free Blog Account
Review from WSD editor:
Registration is simple. Anyway, after three steps and you have selected existing username, you have to re-register from scratch. Your account name also limited to maximum 10 chars length.
Overall, the blog software programming is poor and fault-intolerance.
In MSIE7, the main menu script is buggy, dropdown menu is hard to access (click on menu command, a submenu window will be appearing below it but with space that makes the submenu disappear when you move the mouse downward in attempt to access submenu command. Trick to overcome this problem: hold down (like dragging) the mouse button and move mouse pointer to desired sub-command, release button and click as usual.
The post editor is plain simple text editor (you can enter HTML/BB-code code there). No helper buttons (as for bold/italic/color, etc. If you want to format your blogpost, you have to know HTML down to tag level). The script is also buggy here, for example when you hit Preview button before saving your post, you will be warned about 'navigating out of page'. Javascript is not allowed.
You may upload maximum 25 images. Image upload is not accessible from post editor, you have to upload them first before writing your post. Each image couldn't be larger than 190,000 bytes (actually it's big enough. If your image is bigger than this one, you should resize your image and compress it (i.e., an average 600x400px JPEG image with 50% quality should be less than 150Kb in size).
